Very nice. Seems heavy duty. Mashed potatos are no match for this mixer. It wips em up great. Glad I found this item.

|Loved it but it didn’t last,
I’ve had this mixer for 1.5 years and I loved it…until it stopped working. The downward spiral began when some milk splashed up onto the mixer while I was using it. The digital display started blinking and going nuts; it changed speed on its own and then completely stopped working. I’d expect more from a mixer–of course stuff is going to splash around it when it’s on. A day later, I tried using it and it did turn on, but would only go to speed 9 and then shut off. When I contacted KitchenAid, they said it was out of warranty and did offer me a 30% off discount on replacing it, but I am going to pass. When I spend nearly $100 on a mixer, I want it to last more than a year and a half. And investing another $70 to replace it really just doesn’t make more sense. I’m going to go with the $40 Cuisinart 5-speed and see how that goes.
